Holiday Closures
Over the next few weeks there will several UK national holidays that effect BS Stainless offices and distribution.
22nd – 26th Our offices will close @ 5pm on the 21st of April for Easter holidays and re-open on Tuesday the 26th of April.
On the 29th of April – The royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton will take place @ 11.00 am and as a result it will be a public holiday,
“Prince William is the son of Prince Charles and the late Diana Princess of Wales will marry Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, Prince William will be second in line to the throne but is widely expected to be the next King of England”
The following Monday is the traditional May Day national holiday.
“May Day also referred to as Whit Monday is always the first Monday in May. It is a very old traditional holiday dating back to towns and villages celebrating springtime fertility and revelry with village fetes and community gatherings. Since May 1st is the Feast of St Philip & St James, they became the patron saints of workers. Seeding has been completed by this date and it was convenient to give farm laborers a day off. Perhaps the most significant of the traditions is the Maypole, around which traditional dancers circle with ribbons.”
As a result our offices will close @ 5 PM on the 28th of April, and re-open on Tuesday the 3rd of May.
