Multinox G-Grip Lock Bolts
Perfect for a multitude of different applications which call for a consistent flush pin break to the collar and a wide grip range, Multinox stainless steel lock bolts offer an efficient and cost-effective solution. Available in various sizes, the product is able to provide like-for-like replacement for up to 14 different sizes of the standard six-groove locking fastener system.
More robust than screws or rivet joints, Multinox lock bolts help to immediately solve vibration issues. Sometimes referred to as a 'pintail', the components can be quickly installed by just one person, giving reliably-identical installed values. Primarily produced using Grade 304 stainless steel, they can also be supplied in Grade 316 with the option of aesthetically-attractive bright-polished heads.
Waterproof Closed Cup Rivets
The first product of its kind to be guaranteed 100% waterproof, our closed cup stainless steel rivets are made using a combination of Grade 316 stainless steel for the body and Grade 318L duplex stainless steel for the mandrel. Water ingress is a particular problem in offshore applications, where it can cause crevice corrosion and lead to system failure, necessitating costly repair/replacement and associated downtime.
Each rivet incorporates an equally-unique washer/gasket made from hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR). This material is superior to other commonly-used materials like EPDM, Neoprene and NBT in many ways: it can operate at much higher temperatures, it has exceptional resistance to abrasion and is also resistant to dilute acids, oils and sour gases.
