Countdown Begins to Gastech 2020 in Singapore

From the 8th until 10th September 2020, the annual Gastech Conference & Exhibition will bring together the global gas, LNG and energy community. Delegates from BS Stainless will be in attendance at the event, which returns to Singapore for the first time since 2015.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has forecast that demand from Asia will 'power the growth of the [gas] industry' over the coming five years, driving the global demand for energy. This means that the choice of Singapore as the location for Gastech 2020 represents a prime opportunity for those involved in the industry to convene and drive growth in the area. Singapore is also an excellent gateway for BS Stainless representatives to meet with clients from Australia, USA, the Middle East and other places from across Asia.

Exhibitors will include some of the leading energy providers such as Exxon, Chevron and Next decade.

Many of the leading engineering companies  that build plants such as AMEC Foster Wheeler, KBR, Saipem, JGC  will be present at the exhibition and discussing their services and solutions.

Alongside the leading engineering companies will be some of the key manufacturers of industrial insulation materials such as Owens Corning Foamglas , Kingspan and Armacell.

BS Stainless will discuss their key metal jacketing and cladding products alongside the industry leading strapping, fixing and ancillary products. The exhibition allows face to face with leading clients to discuss past and future LNG projects.

Nick Ornstien, the Vice President Energy for dmg events, said: "We are thrilled to bring the event back to Asia. Singapore is one of the most important energy and financial hubs in the world and an epicentre for important players in the gas, LNG and energy space to engage the emerging, buoyant economies of Asia with the rest of the world."

Gastech 2020 will take place across six halls at the Singapore EXPO, with 55,000 square metres of space dedicated to the exhibition: this is a significant size increase as compared to previous years and reflects the growth in the region. Dedicated industry zones will create a sharp focus on key sectors while country pavilions will be used to showcase SMEs and regional companies.

In the lead-up to Gastech 2020, BS Stainless will be publishing a number of articles and features about the event. Please subscribe to our regular newsletter to make sure you don't miss out.
